Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Jurgen Klinsmann has named his roster for the U.S. national team's training camp ahead of the nation's upcoming five-game stretch.

With the Americans set to play three World Cup qualifiers as well as two friendly matches, the squad offers Klinsmann flexibility in selections as eight players are carrying yellow cards into World Cup qualifiers.

"We are very excited about the group we have put together," said Klinsmann. "The players understand more how we're working, what we're looking for, the way we want to play and the way we want to challenge big nations eye-to-eye.

"As we go into this stretch of two friendly games against Belgium and Germany and three big World Cup Qualifiers, we want to see more consistent performances. There is a huge opportunity to pick up a lot of points and put ourselves in a good position to qualify for Brazil."

Players will begin gathering at camp in Cleveland, Ohio on May 26 before the U.S. kicks off its summer slate against Belgium three days later. The Americans will return to the pitch on June 2 with their Centennial Celebration Match against Germany at RFK Stadium.

The two friendly contests will serve as a prelude to the resumption of World Cup qualifying. The U.S. will head to Kingston to face Jamaica on June 7 before returning home to take on Panama at CenturyLink Field on June 11 and Honduras at Rio Tinto Stadium on June 18.
