Hounds Avoid Sweep; Finish Home stand 3-3

Midland avoids sweep; finish home stand with 3-3 record.
Carlos Hernandez hadn't recorded a victory since June 12th. The RockHounds were shut out the day before. But none of that would matter on Monday night, as Midland bounced back to avoid being swept by the Travelers.

Hernandez was dominant, throwing 6.1 innings and striking out 6 batters.

Vinnie Catricala was 3-4 at the plate, scoring two runs and driving in two more.

The Hounds would go on to win by a final of 6-1 and now head to San Antonio for a four game series before returning to Citibank Ballpark on Sunday, July 14th when they host Corpus Christi.
