A high speed chase started in Midland and ended up in Upton County, outside of Rankin early Monday morning.
Upton County, TX (Big 2 News) - A high speed chase started in Midland and ended up in Upton County, outside of Rankin early Monday morning.

Midland Police say the chase started as a traffic stop at E. New York Ave. and Lamesa Rd. around midnight on Monday.

The driver took off, leading several local agencies on a chase spanning Rankin Hwy., eventually coming to an end around mile marker 378.

49 year old Lester Woods was charged with felony evading arrest detention with a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.
