GREENWOOD -- Greenwood schools were in a brief state of heightened alert today after an oil rig blowout.
Interm superintendent Ariel Elliot says they weren't sure whether dangerous H2S gas was released when the rig blew out.
However they quickly learned that the situation was fine.
Elliot says the school is now operating normally.
