First Annual Bustin for Badges

Midland and Odessa Law Enforcement turned out for the first annual "Bustin for Badges" clay shoot.
Midland, TX (Big 2 News) - A clay shoot Friday benefitted local law enforcement.

It's called "Bustin for Badges" and it was held at Windwalker Farms this morning through the afternoon.

The clay shoot benefits Ector and Midland County Sheriffs Departments as well as Midland and Odessa Police Departments.

We asked the Midland Chief of Police if he planned to make it a friendly competition between the departments.

Chief Price Robinson replied, "Chief Burton and two sheriffs and I compete on a team and you know it's mainly for fun. I'd hate to look at the book especially at my score."

Chief Robinson said there was a big turnout.

This was the first Bustin for Badges and Midland and Ector County law enforcement plan to make it a yearly event.
