Denver Energy Company Opens Office in Midland

SM Energy is responsible for producing about 10,000 barrels of oil in the Permian Basin.
MIDLAND, TX (Local Big 2 News) - A Denver-based energy company opened its regional office in Midland on Wednesday.

SM Energy celebrated its newest location at The Vineyard Office Park with Fasken Oil executives, city officials and many other guests in attendance.

The formal ribbon-cutting ceremony included guided tours, catered food and various presentations.

SM energy officials tell us the company produces about 10,000 barrels of oil a day in the Permian Basin.

"What we saw in this commitment that Fasken had here was to really put something together that was going to be great for the community in Midland," Jay Ottoson, SM Energy president and CEO, says,
