ASPEN -- Federal investigators are on the scene of a deadly plane crash in Aspen, Colorado. A small jet with three pilots on board crashed, flipped and burned while trying to land at an airport in heavy winds. A witness says it was a bombardier challenger 600. A co-pilot died at the scene.

The pilot and another co-pilot - flying as a passenger- were injured. The plane traveled to Colorado from Arizona.

The airport remains closed while the NTSB investigates.
