Cold Front Brings Cooler Temps And Decent Rain Chances 9-27-13

Warm again today, but rain and cooler temps for the weekend

High temperatures will once again reach the lower 90's across the area.

Clouds will start to build in and we'll call it mostly clear this evening.

We're looking for a 20% chance of storms this evening (i.e. in time for football across the area)

Best chances will be west of Midland/Odessa and north of the Pecos River.

A cold front will pass through during the day and we will see cloud cover build in ahead of the front.

Cloudy conditions will persist tomorrow, and with the northerly winds behind the front, look for highs only in the upper 70's.

Rain chances will increase tomorrow.

20% through the western Basin, 30% to 40% through the central Basin and 50% for the eastern Basin.

Clearing skies and a bit warmer, reaching up to the lower 80's.

After that we warm up to near 90 for next week.
