The cold front came in this morning, and by the noon hour, moved across most of the area.

Behind the front, winds gusted up to nearly 50 mph at times.

Winds will continue to be breezy for the rest of the day, generally in the 10-20 mph range.

Temperatures will stay cold behind the front with daytime highs only in the upper 30's across the Permian Basin.

Some areas in the Trans-Pecos will reach the 40's and 50's while a few Rio Grande locations could see the 60's again today.

Tonight, lows will drop into the teens again with high pressure and clear skies building in.

Tomorrow, another cold day will see most areas stay in the mid/upper 30's with only a few 40's popping up.

A warming trend takes over Wednesday with temperatures in the 50's then the upper 70's by Thursday and Friday.

The weekend will be spent in the 70's with the 60's coming back early next week.

We're dry through this forecast as well.
