Andrews County has issued a 90-day burn ban.
Residents are asked not to burn garbage or anything else they wish to dispose.
Outdoor grilling is still allowed but residents are asked to have caution while doing so.
“You can still have an open grill but it has to be covered for BBQs,” said Richard H. Dolenger, Andrews County Judge. “They can still do professional welding you just need to have a fire extinguisher, have it where they can have accessible water right by their welding stuff.”
After the 90-day period the county will re-look at the ban to decide whether to cancel or extend it.
