Orchard Park, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Bills named Rob Moore wide receivers coach on Thursday.

Moore, a 12-year NFL veteran, was the first overall pick of the New York Jets in the 1990 NFL Supplemental Draft out of Syracuse. He spent five years with the Jets and seven with the Arizona Cardinals, finishing his career with 628 receptions for 9,368 yards and 49 touchdowns in 153 games.

A two-time Pro Bowl selection and an All-Pro in 1997, Moore spent the past four seasons as the wide receivers coach for Syracuse, helping wide out Alec Lemon finish his career ranked first in the Orange record books for all-time receptions (201) and second in all-time receiving yards (1,780).

Prior to his coaching stint at Syracuse, Moore was the wide receivers coach for Phoenix Junior College in 2009, spent time working as a consultant for Protect Management and Athlete's Performance training athletes for the NFL Draft and as a high school receivers coach.

A four-year starter at Syracuse, Moore holds the school records for receiving yards per game (75.8) and career touchdown receptions (22). He was named to Syracuse's All-Century Team in November 1999.
