Big Grant Leads to Better Tools for Disabled Students

New and improved technology will soon be available to disabled students at Midland College.
MIDLAND, TX (Local Big 2 News) - A $20,000-dollar grant leads to better tools for disabled students at Midland College.

The Midland College Foundation and disability specialist Dale Williams provided the grant, according to a news release.

It will pay for equipment such as screen-magnification software, literacy-support software and optical character-recognition technology.

We're told about 100 students per semester will benefit from the upgrades.
