ODESSA -- The Greatest Show on Earth, performed live in Odessa at the Ector County Coliseum. Local Big 2 is you ticket to Super-Hero Sized Thrills, Excitement and Fun! We had a chance to go behind the curtain for a "sneak peek" of the circus!

From the marvelous...to the magnificent...this year's Super-Circus-Heroes Show was packed with super-human strength. But, before the curtain went up and the lights shinned bright, there's lots to be done!

Ring Master David Shipman says "an hour before the show, we open up the curtains where we invite audience members to come back stage and interact with the animals and meet the performers."

From group jump roping, to weight-lifting, to even an elephant selfie...OH MY! All access pre-show super hero party, lets kids of all ages be part of the action and work on becoming a super-hero of their own. 110 people make up the Super-Circus-Heroes Show, along with 3 Asian elephants, 2 Camels, 2 horses and 8 miniature horses and 18 dogs.

"They do love it. It's something that is enjoyed, and it's in their nature to feel that encouragement and desire. They treat the animals so well and my recommendation would be, we open up our curtains before the show and come backstage and take a look for yourselves on how amazing the animals are treated. The Greatest Show on Earth, more like a family with acts from around the globe. So no matter your favorite part, it was all eyes on the center of the ring for a show far from ordinary and beyond extraordinary!
