ALPINE -- A West Texas nursing home is shutting its doors in a month, leaving its residents trying to find a new place to live.
The Alpine Avalanche reports that the alpine valley care center is closing its doors in roughly 30 days.
By then, all 29 residents must move out.
The majority of residents have already gone to other nursing homes in Fort Stockton, Crane, Monahans, and Odessa.
The decision to close was because the center has lost $600,000 in the past two years.
The company says they hate having to do this, but that it should have been done two years ago.
