MIDLAND -- The 4th Annual Chase Quine Memorial Bull Riding will take place at the Midland County Fair on Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Midland County Horseshoe Main Arena, 2514 Arena Trail.

“This event is a wonderful asset to the fair,” said Mike Dooley, Midland County Fair Founding Father Member and President of Dooley Management Company for the Horseshoe Arena. “The quality of stock and riders is great, but even more important is the fact it is a memorial bull riding. Our experience working with this promoter has been a partnership of well-produced, well-ran events. This will be the bull riding’s fourth year at the fair.”

Dickie Williams of H& B Bucking Bulls of Odessa will be providing the bulls for the competition. He has promoted several first -class, near sell-out Pro Bull Riding events at the Midland County Horseshoe.

“A ticket to a bull riding of this caliber is usually $16 to $25 anywhere, but is included with a $5 fair admittance ticket,” said Tammy Dooley, Midland County Fair Board Member and Vice-President of Marketing and Promotions at the Horseshoe Arena. “I cannot think of a better value anywhere. If you are coming to watch this high-powered action event, come early. Each year it has been standing room only and has become one of the fair’s most popular attractions”

Sponsorships of the memorial bull riding are available and donations to the Chase Quine Memorial may also be made to the Cowboy Crisis Fund. For more information contact Jake Quine, (432) 664-9183, jakequine@yahoo.com
