MIDLAND -- This week, Midland Crimestoppers and the Midland Police Department need your help in identifying the suspect of a homicide. 

On October 6, 2009, James Thomas, known as "Sidewalk" was found deceased in a red Dodge truck at the intersection of Midland Drive and Wall Street. 

Thomas had been seen throughout that night in the surrounding motels by different acquaintances.

In the early hours of this morning, a commuter en route to work saw the red Dodge truck parked on the embankment of that intersection and stopped to give assistance. 

He found Thomas to have been stabbed numerous times and deceased in the driver seat of this vehicle.

To this date, the Midland Police Department has not been able to identify the person responsible for Thomas's murder and is seeking the public's help so that this individual can be held responsible for this crime.

Thomas left behind his mother and siblings who deserve closure for his unexpected and violent death.

If you have any information on this suspect and it leads to an arrest, it will be worth a $2,500 cash reward.
