Coach Morton pleased with Lee's transition to new offense

Coach James Morton is pleased with how his Lee Rebel football team has transitioned to a new offense this spring.
The Lee Rebels took the field today for their maroon and white spring game. Energy filled the air at Grande Communications Stadium as both teams competed for the victory.

Coach Morton said he feels his wide receivers are the deepest part of this team. It showed in the game as several wide outs looked good, especially Alex Bell who was a safety last year and is transitioning to receiver. In the end the white team outlasted the maroon by a final of 20-13.

Here's coach Morton on how he felt his team grew over the spring.

"Well I'm really excited, I think we've made a lot of head way. I think number one when you implement a new offense there is going to be some growing pains, but the growing pains were pretty minimal. I was really pleased with last Saturday which was kind of our own spring game of evaluating exactly where we were scheme wise. I think we did a great job with that. I'm very pleased with that. We found some positions where we still need to find some players at. We've still got some questions but I think our summer conditioning is going to be big for us."
