Big Spring Volleyball Back in State Tournament For First Time Since 1977

The Lady Steers volleyball team is preparing for Decatur in the State Semi-Finals on Friday in Garland.
The Big Spring volleyball team is back in the State tournament for the first time since 1977. The Lady Steers path back to state included victories over district rivals Monahans and Wylie, two teams they went a combined 0-4 against during the regular season.

Big Spring head coach Lynn Osborne has been especially proud of how her team has handled each game in the post season, saying "Well you know we just took each one of those games one at a time. It's just like we could see state, we could smell it, and we could feel it. I was really proud of the way these girls took one game at a time and really focused on that game and weren't looking past. I think that was a strength."
