Annual "Trouble in Toyland" Released for 2013

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has released it's annual "Trouble in Toyland" list.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has released it's annual "Trouble in Toyland" list. It's their list of the most unsafe toys for children.
these include toys with toxins, like lead, choking hazards, magnets, and loud noises.

Despite the number of toys that slip through the cracks, officials say the number of recalls have dropped significantly.

"And at the same time the number of toy recalls is down, there were just 31 toy recalls in fiscal 2013 down from 172 in 2008," says Patti Davis with CPSC.

The CPSC says this is in part because congress passed the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act in 2008. This was the first major overhaul of product and toy safety since the early 1970's.
