Above-Average Temps Expected Before Another Cold Front 11-29-13

The warming trend will continue over the next few days with highs peaking in the 70s before a cold front drops temps.

Tonight some locations in the Permian Basin will get our first break from the freezing overnight lows in a week.

This weekend we can expect partly cloudy skies with temperatures gradually warming over the next few days.

Saturday highs will be slightly above average at 65 degrees. Sunday and Monday the high will be 70.

Tuesday is expected to be our warmest day with highs soaring to 77 thanks to clear skies and winds out of the south.

Then our forecast changes as a cold front approaches.

We will keep an eye on the timing of the frontal passage, as things could remain flexible until we get closer.

Right now, it looks like the front will move through Thursday and Friday dropping our highs dramatically - 59 on Thursday and 40 on Friday. There is a slight chance of rain that we will continue to track as we get closer.
