<br>Lee still alive to win a share of district with a big win over Abilene Cooper.
WEST TEXAS -- Just a couple of weeks ago, the Midland Lee and Abilene Cooper baseball teams were tied for second place in district play. Lee, now comfortably in second after they took care of Cooper 13-1 in 5 innings.
MHS needed a win to capture the outright district title. They can't get it done as they lose to Abilene 5-3. Lee can now tie MHS with a win next Friday at Central and a Bulldog loss next Saturday against Cooper
And speaking of Central they take care of the Panthers in 5 innings 14-0. The loss drops Permian to 1-10 in district and 4-24 overall.
