Stanton, TX (Big 2 News) - Stanton ISD discussed a possible $32-million dollar bond for school facilities.

Superintendent David Carr says the bond would address issues Stanton ISD is facing, including outdated high school facilities and aging buildings with visible cracks in the corners.

The proposed plan includes a larger cafeteria for both elementary and high schools along with a competition gym for the high school.

School officials say the possible $32-million dollar bond project would need to be done in phases as the project must be completed when school is not session

No final decision was made tonight.
