MIDLAND -- Midland Memorial Hospital has adopted some cutting edge technology to disnifect surfaces.

This new "clean machine" uses ultraviolet rays to sanitize.

It's called the V-360+ UV room sanitizer and MMH officials say it provides superior surface disinfection.

The UV energy can kill bacteria, viruses and even the superbug "mersa."

The technology was developed about 18 months ago and MMH is adopting the method with flu season upon us.
