UPDATE: Victim Identified in Deadly Alpine Shooting

Investigators say two others are being treated for injuries after Tuesday night's shooting.

ALPINE, TX (Local Big 2 News) - One person is dead and others are injured after a shooting Tuesday night in Alpine, according to officials.

Alpine native Reymundo Julian Vega, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The Brewster County Sheriff's Office says the shooting happened just before 8 on Tuesday night at 600 East Holland Avenue.

Two other men were also injured and were taken to the Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine, according to the Brewster County Sheriff's Office.

Officials say a shooter is in custody. Initial reports revealed that at least three people had been hurt, according to investigators.

The Alpine Police Department and BCSO continue to investigate.
