UPDATE: Two Arrested, Accused of Running Off After Deadly Hit and Run

A three-car crash leaves one man dead, and two people are now facing charges.
ODESSA, TX (Local Big 2 News) -- (UPDATE) A three-car crash in Odessa leaves one man dead, and two people face charges for running off after the wreck, according to police.

It happened near 8th Street and Grant on Wednesday around 10 p.m.

Reva Hernandez, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene after police say a car that he was driving was hit by a Ford Mustang that ran a red light. The two people in that Mustang then took off on foot, police say.

Police caught up to the pair on Thursday morning, and both of them were arrested. The driver of the Mustang, Joel Dominguez, 25, faces a felony manslaughter charge. The passenger, Maricela Moncayo, 22, also faces a felony, accused of failure to stop and render aid, according to police.

Odessa Police look for the driver responsible for a deadly crash at 8th Street and Grant.

Officers tell us the three-vehicle crash happened at 9:39pm Wednesday.

Police say the driver of the black Mustang caused the crash and then took off on foot along with a woman.

The driver police are searching for is described as: a heavy-set Hispanic man, 25-30 year old, 5’4”-5’9” tall, with a “severe head wound.”
