UPDATE: Man Arrested for Deadly Hit and Run Crash.

DPS troopers say a man died in Ector county after being hit by a car on Monday.
GARDENDALE, TX (Local Big 2 News) -- Troopers have arrested a man accused of hitting and killing a pedestrian Monday morning.

Troopers arrested Aaron Caine Wednesday.

According to jail records, he's facing the charge of "accident involving death," which is a second degree felony.

DESCRIPTION:
ON JUNE 2, 2014 AT APPROXIMATELY 3:55AM, VEHICLE #1 WAS TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND ON FM 554 2 MILES NORTH OF SL 338 WHEN IT STRUCK A PEDESTRIAN IN THE ROADWAY. VEHICLE #1 FLED THE SCENE.

ECTOR COUNTY, TEXAS (Local Big 2 News)-- A man hit and killed in Ector county, but troopers need your help identifying him, and the driver.

Troopers say the man was found dead early Monday morning on FM 554, two miles north of South Loop 338.

He was said to be in his late 20s to mid 30s and described as being about six feet tall with light brown hair.

Witnesses say the man was hit by a black or dark colored Honda civic that had an after-market muffler and a burnt out tail light.

We're told a man was behind the wheel with a woman riding in the passenger seat.
