UPDATE: Carlsbad Missing Woman Found Dead

Emily Lambert's boyfriend has confessed to her murder.
Carlsbad, NM (Big 2 News) - Emily Lambert was first reported missing on Saturday, March 1, by her boyfriend, Robert Earley.

Earley later confessed to her murder in an interview by police.

Earley told police that during an argument that turned physical, beginning at the Best Western Hotel, he knocked Lambert unconscious.

He then drove her to a secluded location.

Earley claimed she woke up and the argument continued and he hit her in the head, knocking her unconscious a second time.

Then he tied a rope around her neck, and dragged her with his car, killing her.

Lambert's body was found at the location Earley told police about.

He's now being held in Carlsbad on a $1,000,000 bond.
