TTUHSC Inducts Three Former Deans Into Its Hall of Fame

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at the Permian Basin inducted three former regional deans into its the Hall of Fame on Tuesday.
ODESSA, TX (Big 2 News) -- Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at the Permian Basin inducted three former regional deans into its the Hall of Fame on Tuesday.

HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY

WHAT: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) at the Permian Basin will induct three former regional deans into the Hall of Fame.

WHEN: 1 p.m., Tuesday (May 6)

WHERE: TTUHSC at the Permian Basin, Rotunda, 800 W. 4th St., Odessa

EVENT: TTUHSC School of Medicine Dean Steven L. Berk, M.D., and Regional Dean Gary Ventolini, M.D., will make the presentations. The honorees include past Regional Deans Wayne J. Daum, M.D., Donald Loveman, M.D., and John Jennings, M.D.

The TTUHSC at the Permian Basin is part of a seven campus regional system that serves the greater Permian Basin area with three schools located on campus providing higher medical education in allied health sciences, medicine and nursing. The TTUHSC at the Permian Basin was established in 1979 and began operations in the basement of Medical Center Hospital. The School of Medicine provides residency and fellowship training in the Permian Basin. Third- and fourth- year medical students are located on the Permian Basin campus as well.
