The Crisis Center Of Odessa Is Asking For Phone Donations

The Crisis Center is asking for donations of old cell phones, mp3 players, tablets and other electronics.
Odessa, TX (Big 2 News) - If you have an old cell phone or tablet or even an mp3 player that you planned on recycling, you could use it to help the Crisis Center of Odessa instead.

They're asking for old phones to give to clients who may be stuck in an abusive situation.

Crisis Center organizers say even if a phone has no service, it can still be used to make emergency calls, which can help victims who may otherwise not be permitted to have their own cell phone.

The phones are easy to hide, in case the victim needs a way out.

The Center is also asking for any other electronics that can be recycled for money to fund their daily operations.

To find out more about the Crisis Center or to make a donation, you can visit their website, odessacrisiscenter.org.
