A ridge of high pressure will keep conditions dry and mostly sunny for the foreseeable future. Winds will remain light, and rain chances will be almost non-existent. High temperatures early this week will be slightly below normal before a return to 100 degree highs toward the end of the week. The Perseid Meteor Shower is set to peak on August 12th, but the best chance to see meteors will likely be any night before August 8th, looking toward the northeastern sky between 3-6 AM, and away from city lights.
