Semi-Truck Crashes Into Texaco Station in Midland

Officials say a pick-up truck fails to stop, causing a semi-truck to crash into a Kent Kwik Texaco Station Saturday morning.
MIDLAND, TX, (Local Big 2 News) - A semi-truck slams into a Kent Kwik Texaco Station along Highway 158 south of Midland Saturday morning.  Officials say the crash happened after a black pickup driven by Brian Brock, 33, of Seminole, ran a stop sign at the intersection of 158 and Ridge Rd.  The driver of the semi-truck then swerved to avoid the pick up, causing the semi driver to veer off the road. The semi truck then took out a stand of trees, avoided the gas pumps, and crashed into the store.  No one was seriously injured, but Brock was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign, and taken to Midland Memorial Hospital.  Several parked cars were also struck at the Texaco station.
