Police: Big Spring Store Robbed at Gunpoint

Police need your help finding a suspected gunman.
BIG SPRING, TX (Local Big 2 News) - A gunman enters a Big Spring convenience store, demands cash and walks out with an unknown amount, according to police.

Police responded on Thursday to the "Fast Stop" in the 1500 block of East 4th after employees reported a robbery.

Authorities say it happened a little before 5 p.m. and employees describe the suspect as a black man, about 6'0 tall, weighing about 180 pounds.

Employees tell police that the man walked in, showed a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the cash register. After employees complied, he walked out and headed east on foot, according to police.

Officers were on scene quickly after getting the call, but the man was not found. If you know anything about this crime, call Big Spring police.
