NEW UPDATE: Two Arrested In The Murder Of Ethan Cole

The arrests called upon help from both Midland and San Antonio U.S. Marshals.
ANDREWS, TX (Local Big 2 News) -- There are new details in the murder of 21 year old Ethan Cole. Two suspects were arrested in connection with the murder, and both Midland and San Antonio U.S. Marshals were called in to help. Both suspects face capital murder charges.

On July 1st, two people were arrested and charged with capital murder for the slaying of Ethan Cole.
22 year old Channace Emmery York and 18 year old Lauren Rennee Rodriguez were arrested in the San Antonio area. Andrews Police Chief says the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force was instrumental in locating them.

Ethan Cole was found dead in Martin County on June 23rd. Less than a week after, police first believed he had been kidnapped.
Cole was only 21 years old and people we spoke to in Andrews say the thing they remember Ethan for is his music.
Andrews police believe more arrests might be made in the case.

"Individuals could be named as being involved, not necessarily with the murder but with some other issues relating to this case," said Andrews Police Chief Bud Jones.

Both suspects are in custody, and their bond is set for $750,000 each.
Chief Jones tells me the investigation has been long and tedious. It's still ongoing, and he says they are looking into more concrete leads.
