Habitat for Humanity of Midland continues to help families in need.

This weekend, the local petroleum company Concho Operating Group donated money to build new homes in the city.

Company employees volunteered over the weekend, and will continue to do so over the next several weekends in order to finish constructing the homes.

“They gave up their Saturday morning, they got up early, it was cold. It was windy and they came out doing things many had never ever tried before," said Alynda Best, Executive Director at Habitat for Humanity in Midland.

The homes are being built in Habitat for Humanity’s Sparks Park neighborhood.
