"Just Trying to Make A Living", Man Says To Police During Drug Arrest

A man faces charges after Odessa police say they found him with more than four grams of cocaine and a bag of marijuana.
ODESSA, TX (Local Big 2 News) - A man tells police he was "just trying to make a living" after cops find cocaine, marijuana and a scale, according to authorities.

Police arrested Juan Olague, 24 , after searching the vehicle he was driving and finding drugs during a traffic stop in Odessa on Thursday, police say.

The traffic stop was made after police say a 2005 Dodge that Olague was driving was parked illegally near the 2700 block of Alleghany.

Police tell Local Big 2 News that officers found more than four grams of cocaine, a bag of marijuana and a scale during a vehicle search.

Olague told cops he was "just trying to make a living", according to police.

Olague faces multiple charges that include Manufacturing or Delivery of a Controlled Substance “1st Degree Felony”, Possession of Marijuana “Class B Misdemeanor”, and Driving While License Invalid with a Prior Conviction “Class B Misdemeanor", according to police.
