ODESSA, TX, (Local Big 2 News) - Police investigate a home invasion turned shooting in Odessa. Odessa police responded to the crime shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday night.  A 20 year old white male opened his apartment door at Southgate Apartments to find four African American men armed. The four men then allegedly forced their way into the man's apartment and held him at gunpoint. The men stole two duffel bags worth of items, mostly electronics. They then allegedly grabbed the victim's car keys and ransacked his vehicle.  Odessa Police Corporal Steve LeSueur says the victim did not know the four men who robbed him and as the suspects fled the scene, the victim grabbed a weapon.

"Two of them are armed considered armed and dangerous they did have guns, and like I said, there were several witnesses to this, the homeowner did fire back several rounds," says LeSueur.

The accused robbers were driving a dark grey 1999 Dodge Stratus.  Anyone with information on this attack is urged to call Odessa police or Odessa Crime Stoppers.
