Fan Interrupts Rockhounds Game, Gets Shoved to the Dirt

A Corpus Christi fan tried to confront Rockhounds pitcher Blake Hassebrock on the mound, but infielder Dusty Coleman stepped in.
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (Local Big 2 News) - One fan interrupts Sunday's Rockhounds game, and he paid a price for it.

In the top of the 5th inning during the Midland Rockhounds away matchup with the Corpus Christi Hooks on Sunday, Rockhounds pitcher Blake Hassebrock hit Telvin Nash with a pitch and the fan had a big problem with it.

The fan ran onto the field and confronted Hassebrock, but the Hounds stick up for each other. Infielder Dusty Coleman pushed the fan on the ground taking up for Hassebrock.

The Hounds lost Sunday but have a chance to even the series up Monday at 7 p.m.
