Corn Dog Threat

A woman faces serious charges in connection with a corn dog order she found unsatisfactory.
MIDLAND TX (Big 2 News)- It's a bizarre story. Officials say a woman threatened murder after ordering a corn dog. Court documents on this strange case show Charmelle Rayne Henry faces charges for assault with a deadly weapon after an alleged incident last Friday. A Midland man says he saw the whole corn dog fiasco from across the street.

"I guess she was demanding something and it didn't pan out," says Billy Bob.

Apparently Rayne Henry wasn't happy with her corn dog, and returned it twice. According to the affidavit, Henry then took out a pocket knife, threatening to kill the two workers at the counter. The workers dialed 911 and multiple police cars soon arrived.

"The police officer pulled out her weapon and told her to get down," Bob continued.

The report says she did not listen, and apparently was trying to hide the knife while ignoring the officer.

"And she didn't get down, she just stood there by the window," added Bob.

That's when officers released their own type of dog, a K-9 with the Midland Police Department. The disturbance ended quickly, as the dog took down Henry. Henry was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for precautionary reasons, then arrested and taken to jail. It's unclear about the state of mind of Rayne Henry. The affidavit goes on to say prior to making the threat she was seen walking across the road, almost getting hit by a car while shaking her head and talking to herself.
