The CAF Airpower Museum hosted their third annual Mustang Stampede on Saturday.

This event gave car lovers a chance to see rare automobiles and airplanes in one place.

"We got a group of guys that love antique cars they've been buying them for a lot of years and through the connections of midland, West Texas are we just send out an email and decided we just had a fun time to show our cars," said Van Pearcy with the CAF Airpower Museum.

The Mustang Stampede has two significant aircraft in aviation history, the iconic fighter, the North American P-51 Mustang and the World's only flying B-29 Superfortress FIFI.

In addition to the Mustang Stampede, the Hot August Days Classic Car Show was held Saturday.
