Hundreds of Odessans plan to come together this evening, to remember a Permian High teacher who died amid controversy.
Odessa, TX (Local Big 2 News) - Hundreds of people plan on remembering a Permian High teacher this evening.

Mark Lampman, who taught at Permian for seventeen years will be remembered in a candlelight vigil held in his honor.
The vigil will be held at Memorial Park, off 42nd Street, and it's scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

He was then found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gun shot wound.

Lampman will be laid to rest later this week and his memorial service will be held Saturday morning at Crossroads Fellowship.
Mark Lampman leaves behind a wife and two children. Donations can be made and will go to a special account that has been set up at the West Texas Educator's Credit Union.
