UPDATE: Big Spring Robbery Suspect Found Shot Dead in Lubbock

Lubbock police tell us they found the body of Fabian Rios just after midnight early Wednesday morning.
UPDATE: KLBK in Lubbock reports that a suspect in Rios' murder has been arrested and is now in custody in Lubbock.

LUBBOCK, TX -- Lubbock Police said Wednesday that Noel Serrano surrendered to U.S. Marshals just after midnight in Lubbock.

“Marshals arrested and transported Serrano to the Lubbock county jail,” a police statement said.

Serrano, 18, and Mayra Caraveo, 21, are charged with murder for the July stabbing and shooting death of Fabian Rios, 18, who was found dead outside a home in the 2000 block of 89th Street.

Caraveo remains in the Lea County jail after her arrest Tuesday by U.S. Marshals in Hobbs, New Mexico.

LUBBOCK, TEXAS (Local Big 2 News) - A man who was wanted by police in Big Spring has been found shot dead in Lubbock, according to police.

Police tell us that Fabian Rios, 18, was an aggravated robbery suspect and had been in Lubbock for about a week.

His body was found just after midnight, early Wednesday morning, lying in a Lubbock yard on 89th Street, according to investigators.

Lubbock police tell us that the suspected shooter was driving a black Ford Explorer with a small pick-up bed and New Mexico plates.
